'Escape'
(Short film, HDV, 8mins).

This is the third Lug Media short film
project and the fourth to be directed
by Anthony Cullen.

It was made as a showreel for a group
of actors.

Synopsis

Escape is a film about the awakening
of the apathetic nobodies Eoin and
Chris, that consort with, and
unwittingly protect the brutal and
wretched character of Tom. It is Eoin
and Chris’s lack of awareness of evil
in Tom that results in them becoming
part of that evil.

'Madalina on the Mind'
( 2006 Short film, DV, 6 mins).

Synopsis
A Young homeless man falls for a
girl selling magazines across the
road from him. He has never met
her and he slips into a depression
as he tries to get the courage to
talk to her.

The main aim of this film was to set
and maintain a serious tone
that reflected the topic of
homelessness . A high standard
of acting was also sought in
this project.
